“China is going into APEC, saying how we can cooperate with everybody. Unfortunately, the U.S. enters into it in how we can compete with somebody,” said British economist John Ross, a former director of economic and business policy for the mayor of London.
On the China-U.S. relations, Ross said it was the United States that “has destabilized the situation.” “China has not destabilized the situation at all, China is pursuing exactly the same policy.”
