Prescott’s 2nd Annual Christmas Village & Christkindl Market returns and will be held Dec. 15, 16 and 17 on West Goodwin Street in front of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce in downtown Prescott. Kids can visit Santa, enjoy pony rides, kids Ferris wheel, Glamper Shots and the Kinder Korner activities tent.
Santa will meet with children, plus he will do storytelling and special performances. All ages will enjoy carriage rides with Clydesdale Horses around a Courthouse Plaza. There will be a variety of traditional German foods, as well as The Beer & Mulled Wine Tent. Admission is free, some rides and activities may require a small fee.
The event will also feature a traditional German band, the Christkindl Angel, plus an aerialist performing acrobatics, and choirs from local schools.
“We had an amazing turnout last year for this new event and we’re excited to expand on it and make it even more special this year,” said Sheri Heiney, President of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. “This weekend traditionally had nothing going on, so we are happy to fill the dates with this fun-filled holiday street style festival. We invite families and friends to come enjoy all that Arizona’s Christmas City has to offer!”
Hours: Friday, Dec. 15 from 4-8 pm, Saturday, Dec. 16, 11 am – 8 pm; Sunday, Dec. 17, 11 am – 3 pm.
This event is sponsored by Arizona Office of Tourism, Desert Financial Credit Union, Experience Prescott Office of Tourism, Prescott Chamber of Commerce and Hensley Beverage Company.
