VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A person has died after being struck by a car in Virginia Beach on Friday. It happened in the 4800 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard near Pembroke Square. The Virginia Beach Police Department said the call came in around 7:35 p.m. Friday.
According to police, the person was crossing the street when he was struck by a car heading eastbound.
Virginia Beach police, fire and EMS responded to the scene. The driver and passengers of the car weren’t injured. They remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s next of kin information has yet to be identified.
