PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns have a trip to Las Vegas at stake when they battle the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in the NBA In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals. Here’s their starting lineup:
- Devin Booker
- Grayson Allen
- Eric Gordon
- Kevin Durant
- Jusuf Nurkic
The Suns certainly hope this lineup can see Phoenix gain their first win over Los Angeles this season, as they’re 0-2 against Darvin Ham’s squad.
There was some concern Booker would miss tonight’s game after he suffered an ankle sprain last week, though Suns coach Frank Vogel confirmed he was good to go yesterday as Booker had “minimal soreness” in his ankle.
Damion Lee and Bradley Beal are still out for Phoenix. Gordon was initially questionable heading into tonight with a knee injury.
“We’re hopeful he plays, but we’re going to see how he responds to today’s work, tomorrow,” Vogel said yesterday before he received the green light today.
The Lakers themselves had a handful of injury concerns heading into tonight, most notably LeBron James dealing with a calf strain.
When asked if his probable and questionable players would be available for tonight, he simply responded with, “Yes.”
That list would also include Anthony Davis (left adductor/hip spasm), Rui Hachimura (nasal fracture) and Jarred Vanderbilt (left heel bursitis) – all of whom were considered probable.
Suns-Lakers tip at 8:00 PM Arizona time.
