PHOENIX — A shooting in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon killed a teen boy, according to Phoenix Police.
Police say the shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. at an apartment complex near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Camelback Road, about a mile south of the Christown Mall.
When officers got to the apartment complex, they found a teen boy who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Detectives are currently at the apartment complex investigating. Police have not yet said what led up to the shooting. This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
